Mat Madness: An Inspired Workout
At the urging of students, Susan created an audio version of her advanced Pilates and yoga fusion class. Take it on the road or do it in the comfort of your home!
The warm up, exercise sequence and finishing sequence are broken into 8 tracks and last 70 minutes. Do any or all, or if you’re feeling really inspired, do the abdominal series twice!
The Zen of Yoga and basic Pilates principles motivate the workout. Mental benefits include relaxation, stress reduction, and trained focus. Physically, the routine helps develop symmetrical strength in major muscle groups. Over time, increased stability and flexibility in joints lower the risk of injury in every day activities through elite athletic performance. With regular use, your torso may develop contours you thought were only possible at 20!
